Our bodies work best in a slightly alkaline environment. Unfortunately dairy (which is not allowed), meat and nuts, along with stressful living habits, can have an acidic effect on our body's pH balance. Here are some suggestions to help:
- Drink warm water (purified water, of course) with lemon into it first thing in the morning.
- Drink lots of purified water all day (six to eight 8-oz. glasses are good!).
- Eat plenty of veggies, which are good alkalizers.
