About Me

My photo
Cindy Bailey
At 40, I was given a 2% chance of conceiving on my own. I decided right then I was not a statistic and could make a difference in my own fertility. After a lot of research, I put myself on my own fertility friendly diet, among other natural healing regimens, such as yoga and meditation. Four months later, to the astonishment of my doctor, I conceived our son, Julien. (He's now ten! - and worth every moment of anguished struggle. We have also since been blessed with a daughter. You can read about her journey here: http://www.fertilekitchen.blogspot.com/2011/06/fertility-diet-and-journey-to-our.html) I believe deeply and passionately that what you eat makes a difference, and want to share what I've learned with others. Please note, however, that I am neither a medical doctor nor a certified nutritionist. I'm a writer and small business owner, and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my very cool husband and super active kids.
